Yesenia Gonzalez – Owner and Lead Teacher

Hola, my name is Yesenia Gonzalez. I am a grandmother of 5 beautiful children ranging from 3-14 years old. I have shared in the joy of guiding their development and watched them blossom into the people they are meant to be. I have chosen to open La Casita Preschool with the support of my loving husband and family.

We are fortunate to have a multicultural family with representation from African-America, Asian, Portuguese-Irish and Mexican ancestry. This has given us the opportunity to learn firsthand how to appreciate, respect and cherish cultural diversity. My hope is to bring this knowledge to any child that enters La Casita.

My history has made me who I am today.

My love for the arts began at a young age in Mexico City, MX. My father would take me on weekends to various art workshops where I was able to explore the many artistic mediums at my disposal.

I was raised by my grandmother, who loved and respected Mother Earth. Our life was centered around being stewards of the land and being thankful for every beautiful thing this kind planet has provided for us.
